Sarah's background is in Ballroom and Latin American dance and she is a fully qualified teacher in these styles.

Having started at a very young age, by the time she was 16, Sarah was competing as an Open Amateur with her partner, and at one time they were ranked amongst the world's top twenty four couples in the Under 21's age group.

At 21 Sarah and her partner turned Professional and went to teach, compete and perform in the USA.  Here they took the Bronze medal at the 1992 United States National Professional Championships in Las Vegas.  It was in the USA that Sarah gained her professional teaching qualifications.  Here in the UK she is affiliated to the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dance.

Sarah now enjoys passing on her knowledge to students of all levels, young and old.  Her specialty is wedding choreography for the happy couple's "first dance".

First Dance Choreography

Whether the music is slow and romantic or upbeat and fun, Sarah can create a choreography for you to dance to your chosen "First Dance" song.  For many couples this is one of the most daunting moments of their wedding day, especially for the men, with worries about having 'two left feet'!  With her years of experience, Sarah can teach you how to stay in time with the music, how to look relaxed and natural, and, most importantly, how to enjoy your first dance as husband and wife.  The choreography is created specifically to match your personality, whether that is cool and laid-back, or wild and wacky!

Whatever you are looking for, Sarah's approach is relaxed and light-hearted.
