Wiggles Show

Kismet perfomed as part of Wiggles Dance Club in the school's bi-annual show on 31 March and 1 April 2006. There were three performances: one on the Friday evening and two on the Saturday (a matinee and evening performance). The overall show was an ecclectic mix of Streetdance, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Ballroom, Latin American and, of course, Belly dance. The girls performed two numbers. The first was a lovely bright and glitzy cabaret routine and the second saw the debut performance from The Tribe of Kismet, with a dark and moody piece to Nataraja by Solace. There was even a short belly dance number by some of the younger members of Wiggles Dance Club to "Bellydancer" by Akon!

Everybody had a fantastic time, on and off the stage, as you can see by the photo's below: and having seen the DVD of one of the performances, I can safely say that all the girls did an amazing job. I have had so many compliments about the performance, particularly the tribal number, which everyone seems to have been completely blown away by!

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to each and every one of the Kismet girls, I am so very proud of you all!
